VOLUNTEER FOR PROM 2011!

Don't just come to PROMdemonium, be a part of the madness! Help us make it happen…

We need people to volunteer in the following areas on the day of PROM'd!:

  • Door: Greet the kids, take their money or tickets.
  • Coat check: Get the first glimpse of all the hot prom outfits.
  • Chaperones:Chaperones: Keep the peace, secure the vibe.
  • Set up: Come down early and help us make the place look outstandingly PROM'delightful.
  • Spin The Wheel booth: A giant spin the bottle “kissing” wheel with you as cupid!
  • Photo booth: Are you a photographer? Do you want to run photo booth this year? We need equipment and a photographer to set up the photo booth. We also need volunteers to take photographs of promsters through the evening.
  • Clean up: Night owls wanted to help get the prom venue sparkling like new again, after the party.

Your night will not be entirely taken up with prom responsibilities. You can volunteer for as long you like but we'd like you to commit for a minimum of 90 minutes and be able to perform your duties in a safe and appropriate way.

As a volunteer, you will get in free, revolutionize PROMdemonium, meet some lovely and talented folks, and have the experience of being a part of something wonderful. There will be a volunteer orientation in the week leading up to PROM'd where you will receive your ticket, exact date TBD.

We also are also looking for volunteers in the weeks leading up to PROMdemonium for the following tasks:

  • Decorations: Plan and procure decorations to create that magic mood for PROM'd! Found, reused, recycled, and flat-out nifty decorations needed.
  • Postering: Promote the joy of PROMdemonium far and wide with some tape and awesome poster art.
